Multiliteracies Unit: Wonder

This unit was created to showcase potential supplemental activities designed for students at or around a sixth grade reading level. Each project incorporates different modes and media of technology in order to create a multimodal ensemble that showcases comprehension, analysis, and critical thinking in relation to this book. There are four parts: Essay, Podcast, Digital Storytelling, and Infographic.

The prompt for this example is: Create a 2-4 minute podcast that argues why or why not your peers should or should not read this book by explaining one of its themes.

Part Three: Digital Storytelling
The prompt for this project is: Recreate a scene/chapter from the book from the point of view of a character other than the point of view it is told from in the book.
Part Four: Infographic
The prompt for this project is: Wonder brings up many controversial topics such as bullying, disabilities, and homeschooling. Choose one of these topics and create an infograph informing your peers about the topic using research you have gathered.
