Strega Nona: Her (Digital) Story

Note from the ARTIST: My motivation for this piece came from my childhood bedtime ritual in which I would listen to books on tape. One of those tapes happened to be Strega Nona read by Tomie Depaola himself. His accent and voices were so incredibly enjoyable, so when the opportunity for a digital story came about I knew exactly what I was going to do. In the spirit of Tomie Depaola I kept with the voices and humor of the story. I also attempted to spice up the pages with my own artistic flare, such as the feet with warts in the pot. My younger self would have loved this project!
