Author's Statement:
Christopher Myer's is able to bring a sketchbook to life in the book My Pen. He is able to show children that anything is possible with a little imagination. Through this assignment, I want students to explore a creative side of writing. Students are able to imagine anything they dream of and their pen is able to express anything they desire. However, instead of drawing with their pen as Christopher Myer's did, they will write.
