Goodnight Moon
Project by Rachel Kemnitz

Digital Storytelling

I chose to retell this story in the format of a stop-motion video. Because the story itself is so simple and rhythmic, I chose to draw the pictures simply, using only loose-leaf paper and colored pencils. The motion of the pictures adds to the hypnotic rhythm of the story. I chose to use soft music in the background as a lullaby to help add to the rhythm and bring the viewer to a place of relaxation, just like how a bed time story does to a small child.
